In this day and age when managers have gigantic desks a fold-out desk is a conscious declaration of individuality. Konstantin Grcic employed this aspect masterfully when designing Orcus. The reserved, almost demure lines convey a contemplative peacefulness. The writing surface of black leather, a sensual pleasure for hand and eye reminds one of earlier epochs, when time passed more slowly. Nevertheless allowances have been made for electric cables for lamp or a PC.
Secretary desk in Multiplex, with whitestained maple, pearwood or walnut veneer or white high-gloss lacquered, writing-pad folds down, four drawers, six shelves and a secret compartment. Lockable. Frame of matte chromium-plated steel tubing.
