Thomas Kühl & Andreas Krob

1967 / 1969

Andreas Krob began his training as a civil engineer, and Thomas Kühl with an apprenticeship as a carpenter. In 1991, they met during their industrial design studies at the Muthesius School of Arts and Crafts in Kiel and continued to work together for a short time after graduating. They combined their ideas into sophisticated technical details in metal and wood. Today, Kühl lives and works as a free-lance designer in Hamburg. Andreas Krob – following positions as development manager for various German companies – founded the design studio b4K together with his wife, architect Uta Krob, based in Switzerland.
