Local Commitment
For ClassiCon, social responsibility begins close to home. In consultation with our employees, we regularly support selected social institutions in Munich and Bavaria – from medical care and aid for the homeless to educational and cultural projects. In this way, we provide targeted assistance where it is most needed.
Promoting Art and Culture
ClassiCon is committed to promoting art and culture both locally and internationally. We have donated to museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. We stage our own exhibitions on design history and provide long-standing support to the Haus der Kunst. In this way, we contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage and make socially relevant works accessible to a wide audience.
Living Classics
For ClassiCon, design is far more than form and function – it is a cultural testament deserving of respect, context and visibility. By producing licensed designs by Eileen Gray, Eckart Muthesius and Otto Blümel – true to the original and to the highest quality standards – we preserve not only iconic works of design but also the creative spirit of their time, keeping these legacies alive and accessible to the public.
