Durability

In addition to the design aspect, ClassiCon's product development prioritises durability and value. Timeless aesthetics and the use of premium, recyclable materials are integral to every briefing for new ClassiCon products. Furthermore, our classics, including designs by Eileen Gray, Otto Blümel, and Eckart Muthesius, have long since become timeless icons that outlast every fashion trend and are passed down from generation to generation.

Timeless Design

ClassiCon designs are not created for a single season—they remain relevant for decades. Timelessness is not a stylistic device, but a statement: against the throwaway mentality and in favour of conscious consumption. For us, a clear design aesthetic, honest materials, and considered restraint are essential to both ecological and cultural sustainability.

Product Quality

The use of high-quality materials and the precise workmanship of selected craftspeople are more than a matter of course for ClassiCon – they are a guiding principle. This approach promotes sustainable consumption and reduces the need for repeated purchases. To us, made to last also means that replacement parts remain available in the long term, repairs are possible, and thus waste is minimised. One example: we offer a lifetime warranty on the Adjustable Table E1027.

Circular Economy

For ClassiCon, design is a circular process: in addition to using recyclable materials such as cork, nettle, wood, and glass, we focus on the longevity of those materials. Products that are shown at trade fairs or in exhibitions are reused – for example as display pieces at retailers’ showrooms – or sold as second-hand items.
