As far as Konstantin Grcic was concerned, the thought of designing the 1001st tame chair version with four legs was just too boring. Instead he created from the intelligent combination of two wooden shells a new type of chair with high sculptural quality. Venus is free of ballast in every respect: in simple, bright wood, with smooth, clear contours and astonishingly lightweight. An exciting new chapter in the long history of sitting – and one of the most aesthetic options for giving that special touch to a conference room or dining room.
It only takes one hand to move the chair around a room by lifting it by its handle on the back side of the backrest. The embossed leather carries its name: Venus.
Moulded wood, solid wood-veneered in oak, natural or black-stained, or natural walnut, with clear varnish. Backrest handle bend leather in mocha brown. Bend leather gliders in mocha brown.
