Many of our wooden furniture pieces have been awarded the Bavarian Climate Pact seal and originate from sustainable forestry in the Bohemian Forest. We work exclusively with FSC or PEFC certified wood. By consciously selecting regional species such as beech, ash, oak and walnut, we support responsible, resource-saving manufacturing and create furniture built to last.
We primarily use solid wood in the production of our furniture. This is crafted into durable furniture in many steps, from sawing and planing to fine surface finishing. In addition, our wooden furniture retains its natural grain and structure. The authenticity of the material is entirely aligned with the vision of the designer and with our quality standards.
The Volkshaus range by Herzog & de Meuron is defined by its striking wood joints. Crafted from solid oak, interlocking square timber frames form the structural backbone of each design – creating compositions that are dynamic and asymmetrical, varying from every angle. The intersecting connections are inspired by the culture of traditional Japanese woodworking and translated into contemporary design. The result is an expressive collection consisting of a lounge chair, stool and side table, all available in clear or black lacquered oak, with seats and backrests of hard-wearing cord.
The Euvira range of chairs by Jader Almeida represents a unique reinterpretation of Brazilian furniture design from the 1960s and ‘70s. The rocking chair, in particular, is characterised by precise woodworking and distinct contours with elegant tapering of the cross-sectional lines. Finished in dark lacquer, it is reminiscent of South American classics, while the light oak versions evoke Scandinavian furniture design.
The Munich Armchair by Sauerbruch Hutton fuses architectural precision and sensual comfort. The rich texture and visual depth of oak or walnut give the armchair a special appeal, while the solid frame showcases exceptional craftsmanship – whether finished in clear or in black lacquer.
